Indoor Programs
Grassroots (6-10 years)
Targeted to youth from age 6 to 10, Grassroots looks to introduce boys and girls to the sport of volleyball. The goal is to introduce the FUNdamentals to kids through modified games that are similar to the indoor game.
8U Program
An introduction to volleyball program that emphasizes basic skills development through 2V2, 3V3 game play on smaller courts. The game will utilize catch concepts to teach basic game play. Game play may range from circulation volleyball, smashball, atomic and other variations. This program is eight weeks beginning in early September and goes until early November (Except for Thanksgiving weekend).
10U Program
Builds off 8U capability outcomes and continues to emphasizes basic skills development through 2V2, 3V3 game play on smaller courts. The game will utilize catch concepts to teach basic game play. Game play may range from circulation volleyball, smashball, atomic and other variations. This program is eight weeks beginning in early September and goes until early November (Except for Thanksgiving weekend).
Early Competitive (11-14 years)
11U Program
Continues to cultivate basic skills of new volleyball players and to get them to larger number team formats with a goal of getting them to triple ball 6V6. This program is eight weeks beginning in early September and goes until early November (Except for Thanksgiving weekend).
12/13U Triple Ball Program
This full fall program introduces new volleyball players to 6V6 game play in triple ball format. Triple ball is a game format where each player gets only one service attempt, followed by a freeball opportunity for each team for a total of three rallies. A point is scored on each rally. The format is designed to minimize dependency on serve.
13 Girls Crimson Program
A competitive program that looks to form a calibre based team to compete in VNB's 13U Girls league. This 6V6 fair play format allows competitive athletes to scratch their competitive itch but benefit in a fair play environment without having to play 14U teams.
14 Girls Crimson Program
A competitive program that looks to form a calibre based team to compete in VNB's 14U Girls league. This 6V6 fair play format allows competitive athletes to scratch their competitive itch but benefit in a fair play environment.
14 Girls Cardinal Program
A competitive program that looks to invite athletes to participate in VNB's 14 Girls league'. This 6V6 fair play format allows competitive athletes to scratch their competitive itch but benefit in a fair play environment.
14 Boys Cardinal Program
